What is Chess :
Chess is a two-player strategy game played on a checkered board with 64 squares organized in an 8×8 grid. The game is played by a great many individuals around the world. Chess is accepted to be gotten from the Indian game chaturanga at some point before the seventh century.

How to play Chess :
- How to set up the chessboard
The chess pieces are then arranged the same way each time. The second row is filled with pawns. The rooks go in the corners, then the knights next to them, then the bishops, and finally the queen and the king on the remaining squares.

2. How the chess pieces move
- Pawns : Pawns can only move two squares on there first go but only one square forward after that. They also can only attack an opponent diagonally.
- Rooks : Rooks can only move forward or across. However if there is no obstructions in the way of the rook they can move as far as they want
- Knights : Knights are the only pieces that are able to jump over other pieces. They can only travel in an ‘L’ shape however on the board.
- Bishops : Bishops can only move diagonally on the board.
- Queen and King : Both the queen and king are able to move in any direction they want to on the board.

3. How to win in Chess :
The way you win in chess is quite simple. You either clear your opponent from the board or you eliminate your opponents queen from the board.
